Holidays by coach are arranged within Britain, and include visits to National Trust properties and other historic locations. In 2025, there was a walking holiday in Harrogate and holidays in the Lake District and Cardiff. In 2026, we are planning a 6-day holiday in Kent and there will be a walking holiday.

One-day coach trips are arranged from Spring to Autumn to visit a wide range of interesting places. Examples of these in 2025 were visits to Belton House Gardens, Newark Air Museum, Thirsk and the James Herriot Museum.

In 2026, arrangements have been made for coach trips to Castle Bromwich Gardens and Birmingham Museum with more to follow.

There are two subgroups – Local and Family History Group and Garden Group, both of which have organised visits to relevant places. Some examples of these during 2025 were visits to Wollaton Park Housing Estate and the D.H Lawrence Heritage Museum.

The Local and Family History Group are also making plans to visit various places of interest.
